Welcome to The Church
Here Is Our Story
What’s in a name?
WE are the church, and that’s who we have been called to minister to
You might be wondering why the name of our ministry is simply The Church. There’s a reason for that. It’s because we believe that’s what God loves: The Church. He loves the people who are in the church – not the building, not the address. It’s US. WE are the church, and that’s who we have been called to minister to because we love God and we love His people.
You know, the worst church to be a member of is Bedside Baptist – with Deacon Sheets and Bishop Pillowcase. We believe that God’s heart has always been for the local church – the assembly, the gathering. So, here, our goal is to deliver relevant, practical teaching and real, life-changing ministry that will inspire you to get planted in a local church community!
Leaving a kingdom to follow the King.
After over 10 years of serving alongside his father and at Salem Bible Church, a large, multi-location ministry, Jasper III and Alecia Williams decided after much prayer to surrender to the voice of God and establish The Church. On January 8, 2006, the ministry began with just 28 members, and the rest was history… Now, The Church has grown significantly and has a host of diverse members, spanning multiple generations – all worshipping and doing life together in the metro-Atlanta area.
where Kingdom Principles are lived out every day.
We’re constantly striving to build strong families, strong marriages, strong people and strong communities. And we’re doing it by empowering them with a relevant word, Kingdom principles, practical tools and a tight-knit, supportive community.
Here, we believe The Church experience should be about relationship – not religion. We’re all about helping you strengthen your faith walk with God. And we’re also intentional about creating relatable, meaningful connections from the pulpit to the pew.
