We are a Word and Power church!
We’re built on the Word of God and experiencing the power of God
We have real struggles, but the story doesn’t stop there. So many are seeing God partner with them, remake them and their circumstances. He always does it better than we can ever imagine! (Ephesians 3:20)
Values are those things that you stand for in life that you are willing to embrace pain to change the culture in which you live. Here are just a few values that we hold important:
Values...
Change: If we serve the real and living God, our religion ought to work! It doesn't matter what area or measure of brokeness, struggle or bondage you are in, when applied, Kingdom principles will produce change. God isn't short on miracles.
Kingdom Principles: Natural Law is a widely recognized set of principles (The Law of Gravity, Inertia, etc.) We simply believe that there are, likewise spiritual principles. To that end, the ultimate source of power and truth lie
in the Kingdom of God. The Word of God is replete with portable principles that are made available
to the body of Christ for application.
Church: The true “church” is NOT located behind walls. The place where believers worship, flies a banner or
post signs identifying the name of a local organization, but the true “church” are the people themselves.
It is our mission as believers to be the salt in the earth and the light set upon the hill (Matthew 5:13,14).
In all actuality, “church” starts after the final Sunday morning prayer is prayed!
The New thing: At different epochs, Father has introduced the "New Thing." Simply put, the new thing will not fit in the old place. Likewise, the new thing won't likely fit in just one place.
Bluntly put, if it is of God...if it is from God we embrace it.
The King’s Next Move: There are only 2 camps, good and evil. There is an eternal war being waged. Like it or not, God's using us to make a public spectacle of the enemy. To this end, a game of chess is being played to which each move is an attempt to take more territory. In the end, The Great King wins. Until then, Noble Subjects are being raised and established. We recognize that we are at His disposal and take pleasure in His confidence in us. Col 2:14,15; Psalm 37:34
Beliefs: We’d be more than happy to discuss further any doctrinal issues. Without apology or flexiblity,
we believe in a Triune God-head; the infallibility of Scripture, the physical death, burial,
ressurection of Jesus Christ, both heaven and hell are real, salvation is only through
faith in Jesus Christ; the Rapture is Imminent, The Kingdom of God is being established!
Who we are Not...
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
but rather missionaries faithful both to the content of Scripture and context of ministry.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
liberals who embrace culture without discernment and compromise the distinctives
of the gospel, but rather Christians who believe the truths of the Bible are eternal and
therefore fitting for every time, place, and people.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
isolationists and seek to partner with like-minded Christians from various churches,
denominations and organizations.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
hyper-Calvinists who get mired down in secondary matters, but rather pray, evangelize, and do
good works because we believe that the sovereign plan of God is accomplished through us, His people.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
egalitarians and do believe that men were created with a
distinct and complementary role from women.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
chauvinists and do believe that women were created for ministry,
leadership and purpose having equal worth, dignity and value to men.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
religious relativists and do believe that there is no salvation apart from faith in Jesus Christ alone.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
nationalists seeking to simply improve one nation but instead ambassadors of the King of Kings
commissioned to proclaim and demonstrate the coming of His kingdom to all nations of the earth.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
moralists seeking to help people live good lives, but instead evangelists laboring that
people would become new creations in Christ.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
relativists and do gladly embrace Scripture as our highest authority above such things
as culture, experience, philosophy, and other forms of revelation.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
Universalists and do believe that a present life apart from Jesus will lead to an eternal life
apart from God.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
naturalists and do believe that Satan and demons are real enemies at work in this world
and subject to God.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
rationalists and do believe that not everything can be known but that God
calls us to live by faith with mystery and partial knowledge regarding many things.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
polemicists who believe that it is our task to combat every false teaching but are
passionate about preserving the integrity of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
embarrassed by the death of Jesus Christ and do believe He died as a substitute for the
sins of His people in selfless love.
*We are not fundamentalists who retreat from cultural involvement and transformation,
ashamed and do proclaim a loving gospel of grace which sounds like foolishness
and offensiveness to the culture while also saving multitudes with ears to hear good news.
